Historical Literature

As we continue to develop our tours, conduct burials, and research our grounds, our historic stock of information continues to increase. Our hopes are to offer written accounts of individuals buried here from our own staff, alongside other publications we recommend.

If looking for a particular historical book for research, you can contact the Otto’s Bookstore in Williamsport for assistance. As one of the oldest privately-owned book stores in America, they provide a wonderful service.

The Lycoming County Genealogical Society also houses a repository of relevant books to peruse concerning the people of Williamsport, including here at Wildwood. Contact them at the Taber Museum for more information about membership.

Lastly, the James V. Brown Library features a collection of different books, ranging from scrapbooks and yearbooks to full historical accounts of local history. Check it out by asking a staff member there to see the “Pennsylvania Room”.
