Wildwood’s office space serves as a hub of operations and as a storage facility for many historic relics. Below are some of the collections we have begun. To see these in person, contact our office to request museum access.
The Woods of Wildwood
An assortment of objects found in the woods at Wildwood, including but not limited to: antique bottles, animal bones, old tools, and other long-lost items.
Assorted Tools
Our staff have used many different tools and bits of equipment to ensure that the grounds are run efficiently; now defunct, a sprawling underground network of water pipes kept our crew busy with repairs, with some pipes and tools used featured.
Pomfret Manor
Our sister cemetery in Sunbury, PA, holds a rich history regardless of its smaller size. With many local notables and beautiful monuments, it is a must-see when stopping in Northumberland County.
Mausoleums and Monuments
As a Victorian garden cemetery, scattered throughout our grounds are a variety of beautiful and aesthetically pleasing memorials to the deceased, ranging from footstones to full-family mausoleums. Each stone holds a story.
Crematory Tour
Housed in the Friends of Wildwood Museum is the first crematory retort in Lycoming County. Built in 1972 and still operational, it acts a centerpiece to our display as well as a tool for educating future customers, operators, and patrons.
